She Doesn't Know?

"Hannah, are you done on the potty?"

"No, not yet."

After a minute has passed. "Hannah, are you done on the potty?"
"Not yet" came the reply.

But, when she checked, her butt was wet. This is what prompted our former babysitter to pick Hannah up from the toilet by the arms and ask: "Why can't you tell me when you've gone pee pee?"

The marks on Hannah's arms could be seen up to a week later.

A day or so after the red marks went away we find a note left at at our door saying she doesn't know why we decided to take the girls out of her care so quickly after two and a half years. This, after she admitted that she was the one who left the marks. She told me how it happened and why she was frustrated with Hannah. If she doesn't understand, I don't think I could explain it to her.

All I could think is: What if it had been Faith?

On a positive note~
We have found a temporary babysitter. Hannah came home full of energy and excitement from playing with the other kids all day. She even asked if she could go back again today. Hoorah!
